If they’re going to be this anal about your password it’d be better if they offered 2FA as an option rather than a password that you’ll never remember.

Come up with a phrase; it seems annoying but you’ll adapt. My old work was 12. I had lots of books near my desk so I just did titles of books.

You could make an anagram of the rules

No 2FA, just an email and a password you have to change every god damn month.

You need a password manager, I use 1password and now I can have 50 character passwords and not have to worry about remembering them.

Yeah I’m going to do that, probably just put it on my phone so I only need to remember my phone pass code.

Use a car name, preferably your own. Such as, “2001 Mazda Miata” or “2003 Honda Odyssey”. Easy to remember, plenty of characters, fits all parameters.

1password allows for multiple devices so you have some redundancy in case you loose your phone.

People who think changing passwords every month helps network security need to get slapped around and actually do their research.
https://www.wired.com/2016/03/want-safer-passwords-dont-change-often/

You get the idea.

Our Wells Fargo account for work needed a new password every 60 days or something. I went through every tenant in our strip mall and then started variations of FuckWells2017! Etc.
Still just logged in with the same two security questions every month. Much easier.

I almost took a job fracking wells near you.
I’m having second thoughts about that now.

I’m trying to write up projects here and in TX for new construction over horizontal wells. One is unfortunately close to where a house blew up from an accidentally severed gas vent line, so it’s all kinds of fun.

That is a great idea. My company is cracking down and that should do it.
